Built around a similar 45.7 MP FX-Format BSI CMOS Sensor, the sensor now has dual EXPEED 6 image processors. This means serious improvements in the performance along with reduced blacks in the electronic viewfinder. The back-illuminated sensor provides fresh and crisp images that have lifelike contrasts and highlights. Made for tackling various lighting conditions, the camera has a light sensitivity range of ISO 64-25600. With that, you can comfortably use the device in bright light and dim areas without any sacrifice on quality. The dual image processors boost the continuous shooting capability with a 10 fps shot for 50 consecutive frames.
Just as proficient in the video department the Z7II can capture 4K UHD video at a smooth 60 fps. If you want slow-motion video, the camera captures Full HD 1080p at 120 fps. To get more out of your footage you can capture 10-bit video with an external recorder. The autofocus power on the camera is also remarkable. The sensor has 493 phase-detect autofocus points covering 90% of the sensor area. This boosts results in both photo and video capture.
