Overview
The aluminum model Light Stand from Godox is a three-section support with braced legs that rises to a maximum height of 6.5′, and offers a minimum height of 27.5″. The spring-cushioned sections gently lower your gear to avoid impact damage when making height adjustments.
A secondary use of stands is to position smaller light fixtures. A typical use would be to offset a backlight from the stand column, so that the stand itself can be placed out of shot, while the backlight hovers somewhere above the top edge of frame.
