OVERVIEW
The B-5 from Behringer is a small-diaphragm condenser microphone with interchangeable cardioid and omnidirectional capsules for maximum versatility. Sporting a switchable low-cut filter and -10 dB pad, the B-5 can easily handle a wide range of sources, from drum overheads and guitars to ensembles and choirs.
Condenser microphones are the ideal choice for capturing vocals and acoustic instruments. Condensers capture much more detail than most dynamic mics because of the high sensitivity and wider, flatter frequency response of their transducers, which use two electrically charged plates instead of a large coil.
